Checking on my sculpture one afternoon I found this little guy having a blast.

My friend Michelle recycling aluminum cans at Recycle Camp. The can crusher was bicycle-powered.

Briefly I will say that this year's Burning Man was a wonderful time full of hard work, fun, friends and, of course, a few challenges. All in all it was a very satisfying experience for me made all the more so as I continue to define and understand what Burning Man and Black Rock City means to me and why I continue to be attracted to this unique event.

Most likely I will not be writing about my specific experience this year just because it really is hard to put into words what goes on there. I might have been able to do that if I had kept a journal while there but I didn't so there you go.

Immediately upon my return home I went to Reno to install my Bottle Cap Tree in the Mangrove downtown. I will write about that weekend in a later post. Meantime, you can see an image of that installation here.

Music Recommendation of the Day: David Byrne and Brian Eno's Everything That Happens Will Happen Today.

This album is currently available exclusively on-line. You can stream it as well. Definitely worth a listen.
